The Plastic Surgery Foundation supports the innovators’ idea, teaches researchers how to articulate the relevancy, the impact and the possibilities that their ideas hold, works to bring the right people together so that the tested and meaningful idea can reach the marketplace and helps a cadre of volunteers take those new ideas and tried and true procedures to all corners of the world to help people.
Through its support of clinically relevant research, The PSF helps establish American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) certified plastic surgeons as the gold standard of care in both reconstructive and aesthetic surgery.
- Legacy: The PSF has a legacy of innovation and has funded research that has had real and relevant impact on doctors and patients lives.
- Collaborative: The PSF has an active research advisory council. This “think tank” exists to ensure that The PSF allocates its resources to the most important areas to strengthen the future of plastic surgery.

The PSF is the only organization in organized plastic surgery that has modeled its grant program after the National Institute of Health (NIH). Maine Jewelry & Art is owned by 3 artists/jewelry designers, Amanda Coburn, Anne Reigstad and Roxanne Munksgaard. They have owned the Downtown Bangor gallery for 7 years and currently have over 45 Maine artists. The store features handcrafted jewelry made from former dome of the Bangor Public Library and the Maine State House, with copper that is over 100 years old. They also have an online ETSY store. The gallery offers workshops and have a Studio Store for gemstones, tools, metal and findings.
EMMC Plastic and Hand Surgical Specialists has been a part of Eastern Maine Medical Center since 2005. We offer a wide range of services for treatment of general and reconstructive hand and wrist problems, as well as general, reconstructive, and cosmetic plastic surgery services for problems that arise from head to toe.
We work collaboratively with the Breast Surgical Specialists surgeons and their patients, providing a Breast Reconstruction clinic in their office once a week to assist breast cancer and post-mastectomy patients make informed decisions. We also work closely with the Surgical Weight Loss (SWL) surgeons and their patients who have achieved massive weight loss, providing solutions for body contouring. Dr. Liliav provides body contouring presentations to the SWL support group two to three times per year.

We have taken our love of German Riesling Style wines and started a vineyard right here in Maine! Most of our white wines are hybrids of the Riesling Grape. Our reds are French Hybrids. We have seven varieties of whites, six reds and eight fruit wines; a selection that will satisfy most palates!
