Patient navigation, support services, and a path to specialty care close to home.
Three programs honoring Fran's memory — supporting patients today while building toward long-term improvements in care across Maine.
Pink Runway Project was reimagined by Fran Branch's family after her passing to metastatic triple negative breast cancer. Our family experienced firsthand the complexities and frustrations of navigating a cancer diagnosis in Central Maine. With partners across the state, we are working to make rural breast cancer care easier to find, easier to afford, and easier to navigate for Maine families.
Funding for transportation (gas cards, Uber, etc.), lodging for hotel stays, groceries, and other essential needs so that patients don't have to choose between eating and treating their cancer.
A platform to help patients understand their diagnosis and identify local resources for treatment and wraparound care.
An accredited breast cancer so patients living in Central, Northern, and Downeast Maine don't have to drive to Portland or beyond for top-tier care.
For every Mainer navigating a breast cancer diagnosis, we are working to make sure care, support, and answers are within reach. Help us close the distance.
