Who is this amazing person?

Pink Runway Project is proud to be working with this amazing person. Find out what makes her so special.

Meet Erica Cole

Fashion and beauty have been a passion of Erica’s since childhood.  With a constant need and desire to be creative, she dedicated herself to a multitude of projects exhibiting her style and entrepreneurial spirit.

While studying business and marketing at Eastern Maine Community College, she competed and won the title of Miss Maine USA 2005, then went on to compete at Miss USA.  Through pageantry, Erica was introduced to numerous creative teams made up of photographers, wardrobe stylists, hair and make up artists.  Following her reign as Miss Maine USA 2005, she immersed herself into a modeling career, working with the Irene Marie Agency in Miami,FL, Maggie Inc. in Boston, MA and Port City Models in Portland, ME.  Knowing that her calling was to be a part of this industry, she then studied at the Spa Tech Institute of Cosmetology, earning her license in cosmetology, then furthered her education by attending the Vidal Sassoon academy in Miami, FL.  Through these experiences, she gained a wealth of knowledge and built a network of individuals to help transition her position from working in front of the camera, to behind it. She joined various teams as a hairstylist, wardrobe stylist and eventually as a creative director.  She has worked at events, most notably New York Fashion Week, and Boston Fashion Week, as well as styling various clients who’ve been featured in publications from Vogue, Lucky, Improper Bostonian, Downeast and Maine Magazines.

Currently, Erica resides in Maine between homes in Old Town and Portland.  She travels regularly throughout the U.S. working with a multitude of clients in music, fashion, and professional industries as well as coaching contestants for various pageant organizations.

Erica has volunteered with the Pink Runway Project since its inception in 2014, focusing on the fashion show as well as being one of the event emcees.  She initially got involved in this event because of the relationship to her professional career and because breast cancer has greatly affected her family for generations.  She will vigorously continue to raise money and awareness for such organizations throughout the region.
